Sacred Accompaniment Sessions:

What is Sacred Accompaniment?

A gentle alternative to conventional therapy—especially for those seeking holistic, ancestral, land, and body-led support. I keep you company, staying present with you, and with what arises—the hills and the gully.

  • Anxiety and stress

  • Grief and loss

  • Deep isolation or loneliness

  • Burnout from "the hustle"

  • Sexual trauma and violations of bodily sovereignty

  • Separation, grief from severed relationships, or displacement

  • disturbing, frightening or unwanted memories that keep showing up

  • Suicidal thoughts or dark moments we are afraid to name

How We Work Together

  • Virtual Presence: All sessions are held over Zoom. You can join from the privacy of your own home, anywhere in the world.

  • No Pressure: We move at your pace. There is no "agenda" or forced breakthroughs.

  • No "Experts": I am not here to fix you. I am here to keep you company and bear compassionate witness as your own inner knowing leads the way.

  • A Shared Walk: Think of it as a shared walk through difficult terrain. I walk beside you as a companion.

A grounded space for your unfurling when it is ready. We meet you where you are, whether you are wearing a mask for survival or ready to slowly take it off.

Are you ready to slow down?

Voices of Our Clients

  • Kenyatta’s Sacred Accompaniment doesn’t just hold space—it decolonizes it. They helped me see that what colonial systems call ‘normal’ is violent fiction. Here, my autistic rhythm isn’t pathologized; it’s honored. They attune to my sensory needs, help me move at my nervous system’s pace, and never force me into boxes labeled ‘divergent.’

We work in small, sovereign shifts—no performative ‘breakthroughs’ designed for colonial productivity. When we talk about how the face s of colonialism mark IBR bodies, Kenyatta reflects back the truth: ‘Being autistic isn’t the divergence. Colonial systems are.’

Their blend of Zen presence and ancestral wisdom doesn’t ‘include’ me—it centers the wholeness coloniality fractures. This is healing that returns us to ourselves, to the land, and to the ecosystems that bind us to our ancestors. Not a cure. A homecoming."

    Astilbe, Turtle Island (so-called Canada)

  • kenyatta has been a trusted guide in my journey through some of my biggest challenges. she is someone who feels safe, kind, patient, wise, playful, and deeply caring to me. the things that seem so impossible to witness, feel, admit, or disentangle feel calm, simple, and normal in her presence (normal meaning free from shame). with her support, i've grown to love and accept myself in ways that i've dreamed of and hoped for. i know that the challenges will keep arising as i continue on my life path and i feel so much more confident and brave in meeting them after so much hard and gentle work with kenyatta.

Rates

Healing is sacred—and so is access. Our rates are rooted in an ethic of right relationship, shaped not by systems of extraction or proof of worthiness, but by trust, dignity, and an honest awareness of global and local inequities created by colonial and hegemonic systems.

Standard Rate
📍$100 USD — 1 hour session.
This rate supports the sustainability of Sankofa Rising and the labor poured into each session.

Jamaica (Sliding Scale)
🇯🇲 $5,000 - $10,000 JMD.
For community members navigating local economic injustice and withheld infrastructure. This includes communities facing limited access to basic utilities, inflation, and the burdens of living outside of tourism benefit zones.

Systemic Equity Rate (Sliding Scale)
🌍 $50 - $100 USD
This rate is for those navigating the direct impacts of colonial legacies and structural economic hardship, regardless of geography.

It is intended for those systemically impacted—not for those benefiting from wealth or elite positioning within these regions.

Financial Hardship
If you are outside of these categories but experiencing significant hardship, please reach out and share your situation.

We honor your truth and believe care should be reciprocal, not conditional.

What People Are Saying

  • rosemary shampoo bar

It suds up beautifully. The amount of lather you get out of it…! I like the bumps on it because you just rub it on the scalp to lather up the hair… Sometimes some of the shampoo, the hair can come out floppy and lifeless. Using this bar of soap, it brought a lot of body to the hair. It pumps up the strands so the hair becomes or look fuller…

I would not use anything else, ever!

    Cleopatra, Xaymaca (so-called Jamaica)

  • simple coconut face soap

Using this soap feels like letting my skin sip from a spring of nourishment. The coconut bar lathers like silk, cloaking my face in a creamy veil that feels more like a treatment than a wash. When I rinse, there’s no dryness—just softness, like my skin has been fed rather than stripped. This is no ordinary soap—it’s clearly crafted with care and quality. I’m beyond impressed—1,000% satisfied."

—Ralston, Turtle Island (so-called Florida, USA)

  • rosemary face & body soap

My experience with the rosemary soap is 10/10. I was diagnosed with skin fungus that I caught from using water that's in tank or drums. I was given antibiotics and an antifungal shampoo that wasn't working for me. I started using the rosemary soap on my skin, and after a month, I noticed my skin was clearing up.

This soap is very effective, and as a nurse, i would recommend this soap to anyone with external skin condition.

    Nurse Clarke, Xaymaca (so-called Jamaica)

  • simple coconut face soap

Love the coconut soap. I had given the other soap to Daisy and she is loving it as well.

—Gaura, Turtle Island (so-called Toronto, Canada)
