Offerings for Your Rising
Every offering—sessions, consultations, products—is woven with ancestral wisdom, land-based care, and relational integrity. Here, you are invited to come home to yourself, your ancestors, the Earth, and the web of life.

@SankofaRisingCare
Step into a sacred space of return—to yourself, your ancestors, and the land. These sessions are not therapy, coaching, or counseling. They are something different: a decolonial healing process where your own body, spirit, and ancestral knowing guide the way.
Here, we honor the intelligence already within you. I walk alongside you—not as an expert, but as a witness and companion—present with what arises. Healing is not imposed; it emerges. Gently, we listen for what your system is ready to show, slowly releasing colonial burdens like perfection, isolation, control, and urgency.
Together, we trace reconnection where there has been fragmentation: with self, family, ancestors, land, and the wider web of life. Whether you're navigating anxiety, grief, trauma, or simply yearning to feel more rooted—these sessions offer a space where your healing leads, and I walk with you.
This is not about fixing what is broken.
It is about remembering what is sacred.
These decolonial healing sessions offer a gentle alternative to conventional therapy—especially for those seeking holistic, ancestral, and body-led support for trauma, grief, disconnection, or the impacts of colonial harm. Each session is rooted in somatic presence and spiritual accompaniment, honoring the unique wisdom within you.
Grounded in ancestral healing, land-based reconnection, and sacred witnessing, these sessions are especially supportive for Black, Indigenous, and other racialized folks seeking to move beyond talk therapy into a deeper, embodied, and spiritually rooted path of healing.

Individual Decolonial Healing
through somatic, ancestral, and land-based presence
Sacred Accompaniment Sessions:
“kenyatta has been a trusted guide in my journey through some of my biggest challenges. she is someone who feels safe, kind, patient, wise, playful, and deeply caring to me. the things that seem so impossible to witness, feel, admit, or disentangle feel calm, simple, and normal in her presence (normal meaning free from shame). with her support, i’ve grown to love and accept myself in ways that i’ve dreamed of and hoped for. i know that the challenges will keep arising as i continue on my life path and i feel so much more confident and brave in meeting them after so much hard and gentle work with kenyatta. ”
Consultations
Relational guidance rooted in ancestral, cultural, and land-informed wisdom
Beyond individual sessions, Consultations offer relational, co-creative space grounded in ancestral wisdom, land-based knowing, and decolonial healing frameworks. These are not spaces of expert advice, but spaces of shared inquiry—where our knowings come together, weave, and guide us toward deeper clarity.
Together, we explore your questions, cultural practices, and challenges through a lens of remembrance, resilience, and connection. These consultations are especially supportive for those seeking grounded, reflective guidance on their spiritual, ancestral, or cultural journey.
These decolonial consultations offer personalized support that honors both your inner wisdom and our collective remembering. Rather than positioning one person as the authority, we come together in relational presence, trusting that what we need will emerge through conversation, ancestral guidance, and embodied listening.
Especially suited for Black, Indigenous, and other racialized folks, these sessions provide culturally rooted, holistic support—moving beyond surface-level advice to embrace somatic awareness, ancestral connection, and decolonial approaches to healing and resilience.
Rates
Healing is sacred—and so is access. Our rates are rooted in an ethic of right relationship, shaped not by systems of extraction or proof of worthiness, but by trust, dignity, and an honest awareness of global and local inequities created by colonial and hegemonic systems.
Standard Rate
📍 $100 USD — 1 hour session
This rate supports the sustainability of Sankofa Rising’s offerings and the time, labor, and care poured into each session.
For Those in the Global South
🌍 $50 USD — for those navigating the direct impacts of colonial legacies, structural underdevelopment, and imposed economic hardship.
This includes communities facing limited access to basic utilities, inflation, and the burdens of living outside of tourism benefit zones.
We also recognize that not everyone in the Global South shares the same conditions. This rate is intended for those who are systemically impacted—not for those living in wealth or privilege within these regions, including expatriates and others benefiting from elite positioning. We invite honest reflection when considering this option.
For Those in Jamaica
🇯🇲 $5000 — for community members navigating local forms of economic injustice, withheld infrastructure, and state-backed extraction.
For Others Outside the Global South
If you're experiencing financial hardship, you’re welcome to inquire about our sliding scale. You won’t be asked to prove anything—we honor your truth.
We offer this tiered approach not as charity, but as a refusal to replicate systems of exclusion. It reflects our belief that care should be reciprocal, not conditional—and that everyone deserves to access healing in a way that honors their lived realities.
🌀 Sliding scale and scholarship spots are currently full.
We'll share when they open again.
You are worthy of healing—without performance or permission. Ready to explore your path?
Earth-Based Products
Handcrafted, seasonal, imperfect companions for your daily ritual
We offer a growing line of handcrafted, small-batch soaps, hair oils, and other natural creations. These products are designed to nourish your body, spirit, and deepen your connection to the wisdom of plants and ancestral healing.
Our soaps are made in harmony with the natural rhythms of the earth and the quiet timing of our own creative process, using local herbs and other ingredients, and created with intention, care, and ancestral remembrance. No two bars are exactly alike—each one is imperfect, beautiful, and part of a wider earth-based cycle.
Made in relationality, our natural creations directly benefit local community members—honoring care, reciprocity, and right relationship at every stage.
They are designed not just to cleanse and nourish, but to companion you in daily ritual—inviting ancestral memory, land-based presence, and care for human and more-than-human kin. Their textures and scents may vary, reflecting nature’s own intelligence and the refusal of colonial uniformity.
We offer them as humble allies for those walking the path of reconnection, restoration, and rooted living.
Rooted in Community. Growing Toward Collective Liberation.
Sankofa Rising Roots is more than a product line—it is a growing, local effort to reclaim economy, dignity, and relationship in how we create and exchange. We currently employ two local team members in Jamaica, and each product you receive is part of a circular, community-based practice of herbal growing, preparing, and crafting.
Our long-term vision is to become a workers’ cooperative, where those who grow and make are also co-owners and decision-makers. When you support us, you are investing in this future.
You can also support our charitable arm, Umoja Healing Arts, which offers creative, culturally grounded programming for children in Jamaica. You can contribute by adding an additional $2, $5, or $10 to your cart from our store to help sustain this work.
