OUR PRODUCTS

shipping

Thanks for choosing SankofaRising. We aim to process and ship your orders promptly.

Processing Time: Orders are typically processed within 2-3 business days. Please note that processing times may be extended during peak seasons or promotional periods.

Shipping Methods & International Shipping: We offer international shipping from Jamaica.

  • To North America: Shipments to North America typically take 2 to 4 weeks for delivery.

  • To the UK and Europe: Shipments to the UK and Europe typically take 4 to 8 weeks for delivery.

Shipping costs for your order will be presented prior to final checkout. If your order qualifies for free shipping, you must enter the designated shipping code at checkout to receive this discount.

Shipping Confirmation & Tracking: Once your order ships, we'll update the order status, and you'll receive an email notification. You'll be able to track your shipment's progress.

Customs and Import Duties: Please be aware that international shipments may be subject to customs duties, taxes, and fees levied by the destination country. These charges are the recipient's responsibility and aren't included in the item price or shipping cost. We recommend checking with your local customs office for more information regarding potential charges.

Shipping Issues: If your package is delayed and you haven't received it within 7 days after its expected delivery date, please reach out to us. Similarly, if you receive a damaged package, you have 7 days from delivery to contact us. We're here to help resolve the matter. You can reach us by email or through our contact us page.

exchanges, returns & refund

Due to hygiene and health protection reasons, all sales are final. We don't accept returns or exchanges, and no refunds will be issued for any products.


ONE-ON-ONE

arrival time

please try to arrive on time for your one-on-one session. if you're more than 10 minutes late, we may need to cancel the session. kindly refer to our cancellation policy for more details.

payment

your payment is kindly requested before our session (unless we've made other arrangements).

changes, cancellation, transfers & refund

  • based on needs, you may change a session appointment or the frequency of sessions with at least 2 business days notice at no cost.

  • cancellations requested up to 2 business days prior to the session are eligible for a full refund.

  • cancellations requested within 1 day of the session are not eligible for a refund, however they can be transferred to a future session or offering within the same calendar year.

  • if we don't hear from you and you miss the session, we'll have to cancel it and invoice you for the full session fee. you'll need to settle this before continuing with future sessions or discuss special arrangements with us.

  • transfers to another session or offering are based on availability.

  • transfers to another offering are available up until 7 days prior to the event.


GROUP OFFERINGS

payment

your payment for paid offerings is due before the start of the offering. in most cases the deadline is specified with each offering. if needed, please contact us to arrange payment plans.

cancellation, transfers & refund

cancellations requested up to 14 days prior to the event are eligible for a full refund minus a $75 administration fee.

cancellations requested within 14 days of the event are not eligible for a refund, however they can be transferred to another offering or one-on-one within the same calendar year.

there is no refund if you do not show up.

transfers to another offering are available up until 7 days prior to the event.

ACCESSIBILITY & RELATIONAL CONSIDERATIONS (online offerings)

🌿We understand that internet access, financial systems, and communication tools vary across regions and lived experiences. If you:

  • Have limited or inconsistent internet access

  • Face barriers to online payment or ordering

  • Prefer voice-based communication or need a simplified process

  • Need flexible arrangements due to disability, caregiving, or life circumstances

GENERAL

if we need to cancel an offering due to low registration, severe weather, the host being ill, or issues with the training location (in person) or internet connectivity (online), we'll notify you via email as soon as possible. if this happens, you can either receive a full refund OR apply your contribution towards a future offering. there are no refunds for offerings not paid for in advance.
